Light wiped the fingerprints. Before Rem took the Death Note to a new owner, we saw Light holding the death note he gave to Rem with a napkin so he wouldn't get his prints on it. Also they all had to touch the death note to see Rem so Light's or Misa's prints on it at this point wouldn't prove much.

The notebook had Misa's handwriting for a few names (she didn't kill many people), but because of the 13-day rule, both her and Light were 100% exonerated (that's why L wanted to test the rule at the end of this episode). To subject either of them to a handwriting match would be suspecting them again which he wasn't really in a position to do.

Well in the case of L, they know the person DIES from a heart attack, so CPR is futile.

I've been looking through the manga and to my amazement, the scenes with Light and L in the rain and on the stairs are anime-only; this is one of my favorite scenes in the series. There is also a lot of material from the manga not included in the anime (mostly L's inner dialogue). Very interesting.

I don't see any other interpretation of this aside from Jesus washing the feet of his disciples before he is to be killed. Though, in this case, Light would undoubtedly be Judas. It fits the nature of their relationship in a way: They're enemies but have a sort of friendship, too.

L and Light had like the same IQ id say probably around 190-200 and L still came pretty close to finding out Light was Kira. L would have won if he had prior nollige to the death note or if the death note didn't make you lose memories, it could have went either way still if light wasn't smart he would have been caught like that one guy (I forgot his name already lol)

Well L did find out Light was Kira, he just couldn't prove it. That's why he was wanted to test the fake 13-day rule, because saw that as the ultimate exoneration for Light and Misa.
